APRIL TRAIL RIDER MEETINGS

Howdy Pardner Maiers

Thursday, April 7th - “Miss” Teresa's Paradise Island

Thursday, April 21st - “Miss” Teresa's Paradise Island

All Trail Rider meetings begin around 3:00 pm on the first and third Thursday of the month and are over when they're over. A donation of $2.00 per person is requested to help pay for the snacks and sodas.

“Miss” Teresa invites all ladies of the Trail Riders to come and enjoy and watch great western movies.

"B" WESTERNS

With today's technology, many of the old "B" Western movies of the 1930's, '40's and '50's are being restored to their original print quality, digitally enhanced and released on DVD's. They are also being shown on television cable programs such as Turner Classic Movies, American Movie Classics, The Western Channel and other programs and channels that choose to screen this particular genre.

The Trail Riders of the West is proud to be one of the websites devoted to the "B" Westerns of the past. Many of our members were actually involved in the making of these films. Some were the actors, stuntmen, wranglers, many who worked behind the camera and, many, many fans who grew up watching the Saturday Matinees of "B" Western movies and Cliffhanger Serials.

Time passes so quickly... it's sad there aren't many of us left.

I guess that's about all for now. Will try to keep you posted as to the happenings around here.

Happy Trails and Warm Campfires!
