A NOTE FROM THE PREZ:
Dear Nobles and Ladies:
A very successful Shriners Hospital screening clinic was held at San Fernando Lodge Saturday, May 9, 2009. Noble Fred Berhardt, 1st Ceremonial Master of Al Malaikah Shriners has written to our Club To extend his thanks to our members and ladies for their outstanding assistance and support. Thirty children were screened and 7 applications have been referred to the Shriners Hospital for treatment and the date of May 8, 2010 has been set for an even bigger and better clinic next year.
Our next parade will be the Canoga Park Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25th. Please mark this date on your calendars and plan to attend the Potluck BBQ at the Romey House, 4:00 PM. My Lady, Star, and I request that you reserve and coordinate your potluck dish with us prior to the day of the BBQ.
So far, we have 22 signed up for the trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific on Thursday, June 25th. We have room for more. Please confirm your reservation by sending to me your $15.00 check for each person prior to Friday, June, 19th. Next Board Meeting June, 9th at 7:00 P.M.

Memorial Day Parade - We have to be in the staging area at 9:00 a.m. and be ready to go at 10:00. Parade starts at 11:00, we will Load up at Marv's at 7:15. leave Gus Sapons at 8:30. The Parade is one mile long. From Owensmouth east to De Soto, south to Hart. We will disband west of De Soto on Hart St….next Parade Saturday August 8th in Ventura.
