A NOTE FROM THE PREZ:
Dear Nobles and Ladies:
Please remember, our next parade will be in Ventura on Saturday, August 8, 2009. That parade steps-off at 10:00 AM. We will leave Noble Marv's at 7:30 AM in order to arrive in Ventura at 9:00 AM.
The Bathtub has not performed well in most of this year's parades and it will not be taken to this year's remaining parades. The high wheel motorized tricycle in our shed is operable and available to any Noble who wants to give it a whirl.
Noble Stan Higgins has made arrangements for our annual Christmas party & Installation at Buon Gusto restaurant on Tuesday December 8th. The price is $26 per person and the menu entrees are: Angel Hair pasta with fresh tomatoes, garlic & basil; Chicken Scallopini; or Grilled Salmon. Please give him your cash or check reservation soon, so he can firm-up the attendance list. The installation part of the evening is tentative at this time because it is unknown if we will have an elected WHSC president to install.
The trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific is still scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2009 and the reserved chartered bus has been confirmed. The bus will leave from Hollywood Lodge at 9:30 AM. The Aquarium is air conditioned and I hope many of you will be able to join us for a fun filled day. There are 18 confirmed reservations at this time and we have plenty of room for more. Please confirm your reservation by sending me your $15 check per person payable to WHSC prior to Friday, September 4th.
