Dear Nobles and Ladies:
Our upcoming events for September are:
1.) The Annual Labor Day Barbecue at Rudy & Joann Bauer's home, Monday, September 7th at 3:30 PM. $10 each at the door. Please RSVP at (818) 363-5727 and tell Joann what appetizer, salad or desert you will bring.
2.) Clown and Board meeting, Tuesday, September 8th. We will plan the Clown Breakfast.
3.) Bus trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific, starting at 9:30 AM from Hollywood Lodge on Thursday, September 10th. Please advance reserve by $15 each, check to WHSC before the 10th if you have not already paid.
Our upcoming event for October is:
The Annual Clown Fundraising Breakfast at the Hollywood Lodge dining hall, 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 10th. Please return your advance donations in the envelope you received in the mail.
Nobles, the president, officers and board members will meet Tuesday, September 1st at 6:00 PM in the Lamplighter Restaurant (Nordoff at DeSoto) for our annual planning meeting. Please plan to be at this meeting if you are one of the above. Our election day is Tuesday, October 13th.
Noble Stan Higgins has made arrangements for our annual Christmas party at Buon Gusto restaurant on Tuesday December 8th. See the attached flyer. Please send him your cash or check reservation and entrée selection so he can firm-up the attendance list.
The end of this year is fast approaching. Nobles, please tell your fellow Masons about our Shrine Club. I cannot begin to emphasize how important it is for us to seek new members. Our club will cease to exist if we do not gain new members.
